Regeneration Food: Waste

Regeneration Food: Waste

Ever chopped up herbs and thrown the stalks away? What about broccoli stems? There are so many things we do in our kitchens that contribute to food waste when actually, a lot of them are totally edible.

This waste is widespread. For instance, 290,000 tonnes of milk are wastes every year in the UK. Each glass of that wasted milk took 300 litres of water to produce.

In this episode Max reveals the consequences of wasting food on our planet and the parts of ingredients that are often destined for landfill.
