Regeneration Food: Bread

20 million slices of bread go to waste every day in the UK.

After WWll bread began to be commercially produced using the Chorleywood method, allowing for vast quantities to be produced at a fast pace. By 2009, 80% of the UK's bread was made using this process. However, on a daily basis, UK households waste 1100 tonnes of bread. That's the same in weight as 780 small cars every day or the weight of the Eiffel Tower every week.

So how can this waste of bread be reduced? Max shares his favourite tips to revive stale bread and how to make a quick and easy snack with just breadcrumbs.
